InvoCare is seeking a compassionate and culturally aware Memorial Consultant - Communities to join our dedicated Communities Sales team, with a focus on supporting several community groups especially Muslim families and communities. This unique role combines relationship-building, community engagement, and sales, helping families make informed burial and memorialisation decisions with dignity, respect, and cultural understanding.

About the Role:

As a Memorial Consultant, you will work closely with, community leaders and local organisations to provide guidance on pre-need and at-need burial services and memorial options. You will be a trusted advisor who understands the importance of religious customs, traditions, and family values while delivering exceptional customer care.

This role involves meeting families both in person and over the phone, presenting burial and cremation products and services, achieving sales targets, and connecting families with InvoCare funeral brands when funeral services are required.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Building relationships within the Muslim community and broader multicultural networks
- Conducting pre-need and at-need appointments with families
- Providing sensitive guidance on burial and memorial options
- Understanding and responding to cultural, religious, and family requirements
- Presenting products and services that best meet customer needs
- Managing client agreements, payments, and documentation accurately
- Working across multiple memorial parks and community locations




- Supporting local community engagement and promotional activities
- Delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales and KPI targets.

About You:

You are someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and can communicate with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.

Ideally, you will have:

- Strong sales, customer service, or relationship management experience
- An understanding of Muslim cultural values and traditions, or strong connections within the Muslim community
- The ability to build trust and rapport with families during emotional times
- Confidence discussing service options and guiding customers through decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A current unrestricted driver's license
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative responsibilities
- Comfort working within the funeral, memorial, or end-of-life services environment.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, community services, or the funeral industry will be highly regarded.
