The Service:

We are a small, community-focused early childhood service seeking a dedicated Educatorwho values connection, communication, and high-quality early education. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team where relationships with children, families, and the local community are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

Working within our nurturing Babies Room, you will play an key role in supporting infants through responsive care, intentional teaching, and meaningful developmental experiences. We are looking for an educator who understands the importance of routines, attachment, and creating a calm, protected, and engaging environment where babies can thrive.

About You

You are an educator who genuinely values the early years and understands the importance of providing babies with a strong foundation for lifelong learning. You are organised, experienced, and confident in your practice, while also bringing kindness, patience, and professionalism to your everyday interactions.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build genuine, respectful relationships with families, children, and colleagues
- A strong understanding of educational structure and programming, including confidence in planning, observations, documentation, and implementing meaningful learning experiences aligned with the EYLF and NQS
- A warm, nurturing, and responsive approach to infant care and development
- Strong knowledge of children’s developmental milestones and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate experiences
- The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and community-minded team
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment

Key Responsibilities:





- Build secure and trusting relationships with infants through responsive and attentive care
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through intentional teaching practices
- Contribute to planning cycles, observations, and educational documentation
- Maintain consistent routines that support children’s sense of security and belonging
- Foster strong partnerships with families through clear, professional, and compassionate communication
- Work collaboratively with the team to uphold quality practices and service values

Essential Requirements:

- 2+ years experience working as an Educator
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Mandatory Reporting Certificate
- GECCKO Training
- Police Check
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
- 18 months+ Full Working Rights
