PMO Analyst - Major Financial Services Organisation

Primary Purpose:

An prospect for an experienced PMO Analyst to support a significant transformation program within a major financial services environment.

Working closely with Program Directors, Project Managers and senior stakeholders, the role will provide hands-on PMO support across governance, financial management, resource tracking, RAID management and portfolio reporting.

The position sits within an enterprise PMO environment focused on improving project governance, delivery consistency and visibility across a complex change portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

- Support Program and Project Managers across governance, reporting and delivery activities.
- Prepare agendas, packs, reporting materials and minutes for senior governance forums.
- Coordinate project approval submissions and governance documentation.
- Track actions, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID).
- Coordinate resource forecasts and monitor actual effort against plans.
- Collate, monitor and report program financials,



including budget and milestone tracking.
- Support portfolio reporting and provide accurate management information to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain PMO processes, documentation and controls.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across governance, reporting, financial management and project delivery processes.

Essential Requirements

- 5+ years' experience within a PMO, Project Analyst or Project Management capacity.
- Strong experience within banking, financial services, wealth, funds management or another complex regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of project and program delivery lifecycles.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including financial and resource reporting.
- Strong numerical capability with experience tracking and reporting complex budgets.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Project, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting senior governance forums and producing executive-level reporting.
- Power BI, SharePoint and Agile/Waterfall delivery experience advantageous.
- Experience within custody, securities, funds management or back-office financial services environments highly regarded.
