GBS Recruitment is seeking someone with strong Excel and data analysis skills to join a busy Finance team in Bairnsdale. This role would suit a Data Analyst, Business Analyst or Accountant who enjoys building reporting models, checking data and investigating variances.

The Opportunity

Working alongside the Management Accountant and Reporting Assistant, you will help maintain financial and operational reporting across the organisation. The assignment is expected to run for at least three months, initially around four days per week, with the possibility of reducing to three days over time. Start times are flexible, with the working day finishing by 4pm.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, enter, review and analyse financial and non-financial data.
- Build and update Excel templates and reporting models in Concerto.
- Import and export data between Technology One, Magiq and Concerto.
- Review reporting results and identify variances for the Finance team to investigate.




- Work with department managers to confirm that data is accurate.

Skills and Experience

- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, and confidence working across large datasets.
- Experience in data analysis, modelling or management reporting.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to meet monthly reporting deadlines.
- A team-oriented approach and willingness to learn new systems.
- Familiarity with Concerto, Technology One or Magiq would be an advantage. Training will be provided.

The successful candidate will need to complete a Police Check, hold a Working with Children Check and sign a confidentiality agreement.

Additional information

- Immediate start | $55 per hour
- 3-4 days per week with flexible start times
- Initial three-month assignment with potential to extend
