Technical Specialist (MRI)/Project Engineer

In this dynamic role you will be responsible for performing complex installation and service work, advising on technical aspects of equipment use and maintenance. If you have a passion for making people’s lives better, then this is the job for you!

What you'll be doing:

- MRI Installation, Commissioning & Project Activities: lead/support MRI installation, relocation, upgrade, decommissioning and commissioning projects, coordinating project requirements with service, sales, applications, customers, etc.
- MRI National Technical Escalation Support: act as the technical escalation point for MRI service issues, providing remote and onsite support to field service engineers where required. Investigate recurring faults and recommend corrective actions, diagnose and resolve complex MRI performance issues.
- Service Capability & Technical Knowledge: provide coaching, mentoring and technical guidance to MRI service engineers, support competency development internally and develop/deliver technical training for MRI systems & related topics.

Internal Stakeholder & Manufacturer Engagement: support customer technical discussions during escalations/complex service issues, collaborate with internal stakeholders and coordinate with overseas support teams, manufacturers and suppliers as required.

What we're looking for:

- Over 5 years of experience in installation and support of MRI and Medical Imaging systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar tertiary qualification.
- X-Ray license (EPA/Radiation).
- Experience working with computers and networking.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management with medical professionals.
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
