Build your procurement career in a varied and stakeholder-focused role
We are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our team at Programmed, based in our Brooklyn office, providing key administrative and coordination support across the Procurement function.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, contract administration, supplier management or a similar environment, who is looking to further develop their procurement and commercial experience.
You’ll work closely with the Procurement, operational and delivery teams, supporting vendor onboarding, contract administration, tenders, reporting and vendor performance activities.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the onboarding of new vendors, ensuring all required information and documentation is completed
- Maintaining the contract database and associated documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Coordinating and supporting vendor performance meetings alongside operational and delivery teams
- Providing administrative support across procurement tenders, including documentation and coordination
- Assisting with procurement reporting, data and record keeping
- Providing day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Procurement team
- Working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure procurement processes are followed
- Supporting continuous improvement across procurement administration, processes and documentation
About You
We’re looking for an organized, proactive and detail-focused administrator who enjoys working across different teams and keeping things moving.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Around 3–5 years’ experience in procurement administration, purchasing,
contract administration, supplier management or a similar role
- Strong administration and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation and data accurately
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent in Microsoft Excel, experience using databases or procurement systems is advantageous
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive approach and willingness to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
