$61.08 per hour + 25% casual loading + super
Our office locations include Dja Dja Wurrung / Bendigo, Yorta Yorta / Shepparton, Millewa-Mallee / Mildura, or Wiradjuri / Albury.
The Opportunity
Lead the implementation of innovative youth mental health initiatives that improve access to care for young people across the Murray PHN region.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll help strengthen the regional mental health system by building partnerships, supporting service implementation and ensuring services are designed to meet local community needs.
This is a casual position with working hours scheduled to deliver on project requirements. It is anticipated the project will conclude in June 2027 however there is potential for extension.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with headspace centres to establish and embed new outreach services in Kerang, Seymour and Bendigo as part of the expansion of Bendigo Plus.
Work closely with local communities, young people and stakeholders to understand local needs and help shape services that respond to them.
Build and strengthen partnerships across primary care, health services and community organisations to support successful service implementation.
Lead stakeholder engagement and communication activities that foster collaboration and shared ownership of outcomes.
Support headspace centres to prepare for service delivery, including operational readiness, licensing requirements and implementation planning.
Help translate the headspace Model of Care into practice, supporting centres to establish sustainable and effective ways of working.
Drive implementation activities to ensure new services are delivered on time, within budget and in line with project objectives and Murray PHN's Strategic Plan.
About You
Taking a collaborative approach to partnership and project management, you'll work alongside communities, service providers and colleagues to improve access to mental health services for young people.
Key capabilities
Deep knowledge of the headspace service model, with experience working with or for headspace centres.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience leading the implementation of health, mental health or community service initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Strong service implementation and project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver activities that achieve project outcomes.
Experience applying change management principles to support service establishment, implementation and adoption.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare project plans, briefs, reports and stakeholder communications.
