We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to QCSS clients in their own homes across Moreton Bay suburbs.

Employment: Casual

Locations: Strathpine to Caboolture and surrounding suburbs

Hours: Casual hours covering sick days, planned and unplanned leave

Availability: You must be available on Fridays and one other weekday. Most shift ranges from Monday to Friday during 8am - 5pm

Shifts: Typically, 1–3 hours per client, with travel between multiple clients throughout the day

Renumeration:

Level 2.1 $45.27/hr (including the 25% Casual loading)

- Paid travel time
- Kilometers reimbursement
- Paid training
- EAP.

Shift Type: 80% or more of your shifts will involve Domestic Assistance, along with Social Support and Personal Care.

About QCSS:

The Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) supports people to live independently and stay connected with their community.

As a Support Worker, you will provide flexible, non-clinical support that promotes choice, dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals




- Facilitating social and community participation through companionship and outings
- Transporting clients and assisting with shopping, errands and appointments using your own vehicle
- Building respectful, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, choice, privacy and independence

We Are Looking For Caring and Reliable Support Workers Who:

- Hold a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services or a related field; or
- Have experience in support work, cleaning, hospitality or similar roles
- Have a genuine passion for supporting people to live independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are caring, reliable and respectful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role Requirements:

- Australian working rights
- Current Australian Driver Licence – Open or Green P Plates
- Current Queensland motor vehicle registration
- Access to a reliable, insured and roadworthy vehicle

Willing to obtain

- A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
