Independently ownedand operated venue in Melbourne’s South East is seeking an experienced, energetic and hands-on Gaming Manager to lead one of Victoria’s top 10 gaming rooms.

Following a major renovation, our gaming room offers an exceptional environment for both our customers and team. We are looking for a bright, bubbly and highly personable hospitality professional who genuinely enjoys being on the floor, building relationships with customers and leading by example.

This is not a behind-the-scenes management position. The successful candidate will be visible, approachable and actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the gaming room.

About the role

As Gaming Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading, motivating and developing the gaming team

Delivering warm, engaging and consistently high-quality customer service

Building strong relationships with our members and regular customers

Maintaining a strong presence on the gaming floor

Overseeing daily gaming operations and service standards

Managing rosters, staffing levels, training and team performance

Ensuring full compliance with VGCCC, AUSTRAC, Responsible Gambling and venue procedures

Driving gaming performance, customer engagement and membership growth

Working closely with senior venue management to achieve operational targets

Build key relationship’s with gaming suppliers and apart of gaming product selection, inclusive of annual trips to Sydney and QLD gaming expos





Creating a positive, qualified and enjoyable environment for customers and staff

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

An experienced gaming or hospitality leader

Bright, bubbly, confident and naturally engaging

Passionate about outstanding customer service

Hands-on and comfortable leading from the floor

Skilled at building genuine relationships with customers

A strong communicator who can motivate and manage a team

Organised, accountable and confident managing compliance requirements

Commercially aware and motivated to grow the business

Available to work a flexible hospitality roster, including evenings and weekends

Experience managing a high-performing gaming room will be highly regarded. Current Victorian gaming industry qualifications and a strong understanding of gaming compliance requirements are essential.
