Central Coast Leagues Club is seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Handyperson to join our team and help keep our busy club operating safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a wide-ranging role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, can work both autonomously with minimal supervision and as part of a team, and takes pride in identifying and resolving maintenance issues before they become larger problems.

About the Role

Working across the Club, you will be responsible for responding to day‑to‑day maintenance requirements, completing preventative maintenance and ensuring our facilities, equipment and presentation are maintained to a high standard.

You will be required to manage a range of routine and urgent maintenance matters, prioritising tasks according to operational requirements and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete general maintenance and handyman tasks throughout the Club and its facilities.

- Undertake patching, painting, repairs and general building maintenance.

- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and identify potential maintenance issues before they escalte.

- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and operational issues.

- Attend to routine maintenance requests and complete jobs within required timeframes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve a range of general maintenance issues where appropriate.

- Complete minor repairs, adjustments,



installations and replacements.

- Assist with basic plumbing, carpentry, fixtures, fittings and general repairs within your level of competency.

- Monitor the condition of Club facilities and report larger or specialist maintenance requirements.

- Coordinate with contractors and tradespeople where specialist works are required.

- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance work and outstanding jobs through the Club's maintenance system.

- Ensure maintenance activities are undertaken safely and in accordance with relevant procedures and requirements.

- Maintain a clean, secure and organised work area.

- Support the wider Facilities team with projects, inspections and other maintenance requirements as required.

- Provide a professional and helpful service to Club staff and respond appropriately to maintenance requests.

- Co-ordinate with team members or contractors as needed

Desired Experience & Qualifications

- Qualified trade

- White card

- Experience in a similar role
