Section Supervisor in Horticulture at Jackwitz Farms Australia. You will be responsible for all aspects of crop production, ensuring that crop treatments and supervision of the packing shed is managed efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure that crop treatments and supervision of the packing shed is managed efficiently and safely
- Supervise the movement of produce on the conveyor belts in a safe and productive manner
- Ensure appropriate cleaning and trimming of produce to specification
- Ensure cases are packed with perishable produce to end user requirements and appropriate food safety standards
- Oversee roster with HR to ensure that packing lines are adequately and safely staffed at all times
- Train and supervise packing staff to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Liaise with sales staff to ensure that produce is packed and orders correctly allocated to transport operators




- Liaise with maintenance division regarding maintenance of plant and equipment
- Implement and enforce Workplace Health and safety protocols in the packing shed
- Manage relevant documentation and trucking records as required for office administration

About you

- At least AQF IV qualification
- One year's experience, or 2 years relevant experience can substitute for the qualification
