Full-Time | Day Shift | South Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne

Inter Industrial Services is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to work with a well-established packaging client located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a secure, full-time position within an established manufacturing and packaging environment.

The Role

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment, machinery and site electrical systems operate safely, reliably and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and breakdown repairs on production machinery
- Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Maintaining and repairing automated production equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety and compliance requirements
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime
- Participating in an on-call roster as required





About You

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on electrician who has experience working in a manufacturing, production or packaging environment.

You will ideally have:

- Australian Electrical Licence – must have.
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with automated production machinery
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- A robust understanding of workplace health and safety
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
