We are seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand to join our operations at the Warra Warra Aggregation.

The Senior Farm Hand is responsible for all on-farm operations at the expanding irrigated and dryland farming enterprise in the Warra district, QLD.

About the Property

The Warra Warra aggregation comprises 12,000 hectares of mixed irrigated and dryland farming, located between the townships of Warra & Jimbour, 50 km west of Dalby on the Darling Downs, straddling the Condamine River.

Dalby offers all essential amenities, including schools, shopping, and sports facilities, while Warra Warra is ideally situated just a couple of hours from major cities and beaches in Southeast Queensland — perfect for weekend adventures

About the Role

- Ground preparation, spraying, planting, harvesting and irrigation
- Machinery operation and maintenance, including servicing and repairs of property vehicles, machinery, small motors, and irrigation infrastructure
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Record keeping including machinery records and spray records

About You

- Demonstrated competency across all listed tasks
- Demonstrated passion for farming and enthusiasm to continue learning
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, all aspects of row crop irrigation
- Sound mechanical knowledge and workshop skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions,



including night shifts and weekend work
- Heavy Vehicle Licence - Class HC or higher — desirable (or willing to obtain)
- Certificate or Diploma qualification in Agriculture, Rural Operations, or equivalent — desirable
- Current chemical user’s accreditation (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to take direction and work effectively within a team
- Ability to work autonomously
- Robust work ethic and commitment to safety
