Team Leader

Location: Tamworth and Gunnedah

Employment type: Temporary full-time

Salary: $125,000 - $129,492 per annum plus superannuation and employer’s contribution

Your role

The Team Leader provides professional leadership. guidance, mentoring and support to Community Corrections Officers and Senior Community Corrections Officers. The role supports staff capability and development, promotes consistency and accountability in practice, and contributes to effective risk management and positive outcomes for people subject to community-based supervision orders.

What You’ll Do

As a Team Leader you will support our team in helping to make a difference to improve the lives of the diverse community we work with. You will support a team of Community Corrections Officers focussed on offender rehabilitation and enhancing community safety. This will include prioritising demands, identifying systemic areas for development and implementing and monitoring development activities and ensuring quality interventions are maintained at a high standard.

You will benefit from a supportive work workplace, ongoing development and opportunities to engage in staff activities, all while making a meaningful impact in the community by leading your team.

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW)



delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce reoffending and create safer communities. We house remand and sentenced inmates in correctional centres and supervise offenders serving orders in the community.

CSNSW provides reports and advice to courts and releasing/parole authorities and assesses offenders in the community and in custody for relevant interventions to reduce their risks of reoffending. CSNSW works in partnership with other government and non-government justice and human services agencies to support victims, facilitate restorative justice and promote reintegration.
