Help children build confidence in the water and learn skills that could save their lives.
Tropical Kids Swim School is looking for a friendly, reliable Swim Teacher to join our Port Douglas team. You’ll teach children in a fun, supportive environment, helping each swimmer progress at their own pace.
What you’ll do
- Deliver engaging swimming and water safety lessons for children.
- Adapt your teaching to different ages, abilities and confidence levels.
- Keep lessons secure, positive and encouraging.
- Communicate clearly with parents and carers about each child’s progress.
What we’re looking for
- An AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification, or an equivalent qualification.
- A current Queensland Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one.
- A patient, energetic approach and a genuine enjoyment of working with children.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to water safety.
