IT Application Analyst - Warehouse Systems

Your role as an Application Analyst

- Support and troubleshoot warehouse management and logistics applications
- Investigate application issues, analyse data and logs, and identify root causes.
- Develop and maintain Progress ABL solutions, reports, interfaces, and utilities.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver practical system improvements.
- Support WMS, ERP, automation/MHE, and external system integrations.
- Perform SQL-based data analysis, testing, deployments, and documentation.
- Collaborate with operations, IT teams, and vendors to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Progress ABL and Power BI,



combined with a good understanding of warehouse management, inventory, logistics, and operational processes.

- 3-5 years' experience in application support, systems analysis, or a similar role.
- Good SQL and relational database skills.
- Experience with Progress 4GL / ABL, Power BI desirable but not essential
- Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operations.
- Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) an advantage
- Experience in logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, or cold-chain environments.
- Familiarity with inventory management processes and Agile delivery methods.
