ShelfordCampus

Opening in 2027 in the heart ofCaulfield, Shelford Campus will be the newest Junior School ofCaulfield Grammar School. The campus will initially offerexceptional education for students in Prep and Years 4–6, beforeprogressively growing into a full Prep to Year 6 Junior School.This represents a once‑in‑a‑career opportunity for a founding teamto shape the culture and community from the ground up, deliveringhigh‑impact learning in purpose‑builtfacilities.

TheRole

This is an exciting opportunity tolead and shape the Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and VacationCare program at our new Shelford Campus. As a member of thefoundation team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a secure,engaging and high-quality program that enriches students' learningand wellbeing beyond the school day.

Reporting to the Deputy Head ofCampus, the OSHC Team Leader will oversee the day-to-day operationof the OSHC and Vacation Care programs, ensuring the higheststandards of safety, compliance, engagement and care. You willprovide leadership to team members supporting the program whiledriving program development, continuous improvement initiatives andthe implementation of policies and procedures aligned with Schoolpriorities and regulatory requirements.

Working collaboratively withstudents, families, staff and the broader school community, youwill create a welcoming and inclusive environment where studentscan learn, play and thrive.



As a founding member of the ShelfordCampus team, you will help establish a vibrant and sustainable OSHCprogram that reflects the values and vision of Caulfield GrammarSchool.

This is a 12-month, fixed-termposition, commencing at the start of2027.

KeyResponsibilities:

- Lead the day-to-day delivery ofthe OSHC and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe, engagingand high-quality experience forstudents.
- Provide leadership, guidance andsupport to OSHC educators, fostering a collaborative andhigh-performing team culture.
- Develop, implement and evaluateengaging programs aligned with the school's educational goalsand My Time, Our Place (MTOP)framework.
- Maintain policies, proceduresand quality improvement plans to support continuous improvementand regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Educationand Care Services National Regulations, National Law and Schoolpolicies.
- Establish and maintain healthand safety protocols, including risk management, incidentreporting and emergency procedures.
- Build strong relationships withstudents, families, staff and community organisations toenhance program participation andoutcomes.
- Manage bookings, enrolments andcancellations, ensuring effective communication withfamilies.
- Support budgeting, resourcemanagement, billing processes and administrative requirementsassociated with programdelivery.
- Undertake the responsibilitiesof Nominated Supervisor and EducationalLeader.
- Assist with staff recruitment,induction, professional development and performancesupport.
- Uphold the School's commitmentto Child Safety, ensuring the wellbeing, safety and dignity ofall students at all times.

Skills andQualifications:





- Diploma of Early ChildhoodEducation, Diploma of School Age Education and Care, Bachelorof Education or another ACECQA-approvedqualification.
- Current First Aid, CPR andAnaphylaxis Managementqualifications.
- Current Employment Working withChildren Check or Victorian Institute of Teachingregistration.
- Demonstrated leadershipexperience within an Out of School Hours Caresetting.
- Proven experience developing,implementing and evaluating quality careprograms.
- Strong understanding of theNational Quality Framework, National Quality Standards andrelevant legislation.
- Experience leading teams andfostering collaboration to achieve consistentoutcomes.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills when working with children, families andcolleagues.
- Strong organisational skillswith high attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuousimprovement, professional growth and educationalinnovation.
