State Sales Manager - Elevated Work Platforms & Materials Handling

As we continue to invest in our future, we are seeking an experienced State Sales Manager to lead our sales growth and strengthen our presence across the state.

This is an outstanding prospect for a motivated sales leader who enjoys developing people, winning new business, and building lasting partnerships with customers in the construction, infrastructure, industrial and maintenance sectors.

About the Role

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for leading the state's sales strategy while managing and developing a high-performing sales team. You will play a key role in growing our market position by identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the state sales strategy.

Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team.

Drive profitable growth across equipment hire and equipment sales.

Build strong relationships with key customers and major contractors.

Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Monitor sales performance, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.

Work closely with operations to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Recruit, develop,



and retain top sales talent.

About You

You are an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of achieving results in the access equipment, construction equipment, hire, or industrial sectors.

You will ideally possess:

Previous experience managing a successful sales team.

Experience within the EWP, equipment hire, construction, or related industry preferable.

Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Excellent commercial and negotiation ability.

Proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships.

High levels of energy, professionalism, and integrity.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
