Refined Hearing

Canberra

At Refined Hearing, we are dedicated to helping people reconnect with the emotion, confidence and independence that come with better hearing. As a mobile hearing clinic, we bring professional hearing care directly to the community and retirement villages across Canberra, Regional NSW and SE QLD, making our services more accessible, personal and convenient for clients. Guided by our mission and vision, our team is committed to understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering exceptional care, communication and support.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to make high-quality hearing care more accessible, personal and trusted for clients and their families. Through our mobile hearing clinic model, we bring professional support consistently and directly into retirement villages and local communities, helping clients feel heard, understood and confident in taking the next step toward better hearing.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Client Advisor to support Refined Hearing’s mobile clinic operations in a primarily work-from-home role. You will coordinate client appointments, manage enquiries, liaise with clients and their families and work closely with our clinicians to ensure each clinic day runs smoothly. From time to time, you will travel to retirement villages and community clinic locations, where you may act as the first point of contact for clients and provide warm, professional on-site support. This position suits someone who is organised, confident working independently, comfortable communicating with clients, and willing to travel occasionally as part of a purpose-led hearing care service.

Core Responsibilities

- Support clients as the first point of contact across phone, email and on-site mobile clinic settings.
- Respond to client enquiries and support positive client outcomes across each clinic location.
- Greet and meet new clients, handle incoming and outgoing calls and provide warm, professional support.
- Provide clients with clear,

accurate information about appointments, services and next steps.
- Represent Refined Hearing’s values, mission and vision when engaging with clients and families.
- Coordinate smoothly with the wider team and clinicians to support effective clinic operations.

Additional Opportunities (Outreach & Growth)

- Support client follow-up, appointment attendance and ongoing engagement with Refined Hearing services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with retirement village staff, community contacts and clients.
- Assist with community engagement and outreach activities that help clients access hearing care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a confident, organised and caring professional who can work independently from home while staying closely connected with clients, families and the Refined Hearing clinical team. The ideal person will be comfortable managing enquiries, coordinating appointments, supporting client relationships and travelling occasionally to retirement villages or community clinic locations when on-site support is required. You will also demonstrate:

- Solid communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients, families, retirement village staff and clinical team members.
- Confidence working from home, staying self-motivated, managing priorities and taking ownership of daily tasks with minimal supervision.
- Computer literacy across Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and appointment booking or client management systems, with strong attention to detail when recording information.

- A client-focused approach, with patience, professionalism and sensitivity when supporting senior clients and their families.
- The ability to coordinate appointments, follow up enquiries and support clinic schedules in collaboration with clinicians.
- Previous experience in medical administration, allied-health administration or a similar client coordination role will be highly regarded.
- A proactive mindset with the flexibility to travel occasionally to retirement villages and community clinic locations as required.
- An understanding of, and commitment to Refined Hearing’s mission, values and purpose-led approach to accessible hearing care.

Working week: Monday to Friday (38 hours)

- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Majority work-from-home role, with occasional travel to retirement villages and mobile clinic locations.
- Training and ongoing team support to help you feel confident in hearing care administration and client coordination.
- Autonomy in your day-to-day work, with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients, families and community partners.

When you join Refined Hearing, you will become part of a supportive, purpose-led team that is focused on making hearing care more accessible for clients in their own communities. This role offers a majority work-from-home structure, with occasional travel to retirement villages and community clinic locations, giving you flexibility while still staying connected to clients and the wider team. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients and retirement village partners and contribute to a growing mobile hearing clinic that values care, professionalism and service excellence. If you are looking for a role where your communication, organisation and client care skills can make a genuine difference, we would love to hear from you.
