Vibe Disability Support is seeking a reliable, confident and genuinely person-centred Disability Support Worker to join our growing team. We are a locally operated NDIS provider supporting people with disability to build independence, access their community and achieve their individual goals. Our focus is on consistent, respectful support and developing strong working relationships with participants, families and the wider care team.

Key responsibilities

- Providing one-to-one and two-to-one disability support
- Community access and social participation
- In-home support
- Supporting participants to develop independence and daily living skills
- Transporting participants to appointments, activities and community outings
- Following individual support plans and behaviour support strategies
- Supporting participants who may experience complex behaviours or psychosocial disability
- Completing accurate case notes and required documentation
- Communicating effectively with participants, families, support coordinators and other members of the care team
- Responding calmly and professionally to changing situations

About you

- Reliable and committed to providing consistent support
- Calm, patient and confident




- Able to build genuine professional relationships with participants
- Comfortable supporting people with complex needs and behaviours
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with availability
- Skilled with documentation and reporting
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Queensland Working with Children Check / Blue Card where required
- Casual employment under the SCHADS Award
- Penalty rates and applicable allowances
- Supportive local management
