We are seeking a Regulatory Applications Coordinator to join a government team responsible for the administration and coordination of prescription medicine applications and regulatory processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to work that supports the timely assessment and availability of prescription medicines in Australia.
The Chance
Working closely with experienced Case Managers and regulatory stakeholders, you will provide administrative and coordination support across a range of prescription medicine registration and variation applications.
You will be responsible for keeping applications moving, maintaining accurate records and supporting stakeholders throughout the regulatory process.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and administrative management of prescription medicine registration and variation applications.
- Support regulatory assessment activities, including tracking application progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, correspondence, reports and briefing material.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate the timely processing of applications.
- Monitor workflows, deadlines and outcomes across multiple applications.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to Case Managers and the broader team.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in administration, coordination or workflow management, ideally supporting regulatory applications or processes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports or briefing material.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Desirable experience
Experience within a health, medicines, scientific or regulatory environment will be highly regarded. Knowledge of Australian Government administrative, policy or regulatory processes, as well as experience with records management or workflow systems, will also be advantageous.

- ASAP commencement
- 12-month assignment, with potential extension to be determined
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Canberra – Fairbairn location
- Hybrid work-from-home flexibility available
- $54.59 per hour + super
- Australian Citizenship essential
- Baseline security clearance preferred
