We are transitioning our core productivity suite from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. We require an experienced M365 & SharePoint Migration Specialist on a 3 month contract to lead the end-to-end technical execution of this shift. This role encompasses both the technical backend migration (Gmail/Drive to Exchange/OneDrive/Teams) and the design and rollout of our new SharePoint Online information architecture.

Key responsibilities

Map identities, domains, and security groups from Google Admin Console to Microsoft Entra ID.

Set up migration tools (e.g., BitTitan MigrationWiz, Microsoft Migration Manager) and manage test/pilot migrations.

Execute cutover plans for email (Gmail to Exchange Online) and files (Google Drive & Shared Drives to OneDrive & SharePoint).

Manage coexistence, MX record updates, domain propagation, and post-cutover troubleshooting.

Design a clean, scalable SharePoint architecture (Hub sites, site collections, document libraries, and metadata tags) to replace Google Shared Drives.

Establish explicit permission models,



external sharing rules, and access control policies.

Migrate legacy Google Drive folder structures into the newly designed SharePoint topology.

Provide basic training artifacts and administrative handoff documentation for internal staff upon project completion.

About you

Successfully delivered at least two full-lifecycle Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations within strict timelines.

Hands-on experience with Google Admin Console, M365 Admin Center, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.

Expertise in enterprise migration tools (BitTitan, AvePoint, or Microsoft Migration Manager) and PowerShell automation.

Strong practical experience structuring business content, metadata, and security permissions in SharePoint Online.

Ability to work autonomously, manage risk, and stick to a tight 90-day milestone plan.
