Golden Hire Recruitment is partnering with Vertex Workforce.

Vertex is expanding its construction labour hire operations across Australia and bringing workforce allocation in-house. We are looking for a Workforce Allocations Manager who can keep sites staffed, workers engaged and the operation organised as we grow.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing workforce function and help shape how it operates. Your work will have a direct impact on client service, worker retention and Vertex’s ability to expand across states. A competitive remuneration package and growth opportunities are on offer.

You will manage an initial pool of up to approximately 50 workers across construction and trade roles. This is a hands on position combining daily allocations, recruitment, worker care and the development of systems that can support a larger workforce.

About the role:

- Coordinate daily assignments, availability, attendance and short notice replacements across clients, locations and trades.
- Plan ahead for client demand and maintain regular contact with both clients and workers.
- Source, assess and recruit construction and trade workers across Australia.
- Build a searchable talent pool with accurate records of skills, location, qualifications,



availability and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate onboarding and inductions, and check licences, tickets, PPE and site requirements before deployment.
- Support worker engagement, address performance issues and follow up throughout assignments.
- Keep weekly timesheets and required invoice submissions accurate and on time.
- Help establish consistent allocation and reporting processes, including supporting the planned introduction of Bullhorn.

About You:

You will have experience in construction or trades labour hire, high volume workforce allocation, or closely related workforce operations . You can respond quickly when a client needs workers while staying ahead of future demand.

You will also bring sound judgement around screening, site readiness and compliance, solid communication with clients and workers, and the organisation to manage several moving priorities at once.

An established network of trade workers, interstate mobilisation experience, or experience improving an allocation system would be valuable.
