Optus is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead development and integration of OSS assurance systems, both off‑the‑shell and inhouse. The role combines hands‑on coding with business understanding, guiding vendors and internal teams to deliver reliable network solutions.

You’ll work across Java, Groovy, databases, and modern tooling (NiFi, Kafka, Camunda, Drools, Docker/Kubernetes) to implement, test, and maintain enterprise systems. Adaptable hybrid work and strong career growth are offered.
