Lead an established North Brisbane practice with the backing of a national group.

We’re looking for an experienced Practice Lead or senior accounting leader with a proven track record of leading teams, managing clients and driving the performance and growth of a practice.

This is an opportunity for someone with a proven track record in public practice and leadership to take ownership of an established North Brisbane team and client base - while having the support and resources of a growing national group behind you.

You’ll have the local relationships and autonomy of an established practice, backed by national Operations, HR and Finance teams, an experienced onsite Office Manager, shared training and development, and a wider network of accounting professionals.

The Role

- Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
- Providing trusted accounting and business advice
- Leading, mentoring and developing the team
- Reviewing work and maintaining high technical standards
- Managing workflow, deadlines and client relationships




- Identifying new business and growth opportunities
- Taking ownership of practice performance and revenue

About You

- Strong Australian public practice experience
- CA or CPA qualification
- A proven track record managing clients and delivering quality work
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing accounting staff
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Excellent client and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a growth mindset
- The confidence and initiative to make decisions and take ownership
- Strong Xero and cloud accounting experience
