Service Technician

Adelaide-based | $45-55/hour + vehicle + paid overtime

Are you an experienced Service Technician looking for a role offering variety, autonomy and genuine career progression?

We’re seeking a hands-on Service Technician to service and maintain a range of automation, packaging, labelling and conveyor equipment across FMCG, food and fruit-packing environments.

Based in Adelaide Hills and travel to Riverland approximately fortnightly to monthly, typically staying 1–2 nights per trip.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, maintain and repair automation, packaging, labelling and conveyor equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability
- Attend customer sites across Mildura, the Adelaide Hills and Riverland




- Participate in the rotating on-call roster and respond to breakdowns when required
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Support equipment installation, commissioning and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support

What we’re looking for

- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification or engineering background
- Experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Fitter, Electrician or similar
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, fruit packing or industrial automation
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance skills
- Good communication, organisation and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away 1–2 nights at a time (per month)
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call roster and work overtime when required
