Textile Designer (Part time - 22 hours per week)

An exciting prospect for an Emerging Textile Designer (22 hours per week)is now available at our Brunswick, Melbourne office.

What will you do?

A typical day will include:

- Creating Mood Boards
- Designing concepts for multi-level ranges, including all aspects of the customers’ requirements
- Trend forecasting
- Specification set up
- Sample and library management
- Creating showroom experiences
- Liaising with overseas factories
- Learning qualities and production
- Working with all stakeholders
- Presenting product, design and colour direction both internal and external customers
- Market research

ABOUT YOU





The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Textile Design or Graphic Design, be creative, think outside the square and make things look great!

- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Creative and an exceptional eye for design and detail
- Strong drawing and illustration skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Have a “can do” attitude
- Love working collaboratively with a team
- You are punctual and proactive, with an ability to coordinate and prioritise
