Job Description
Geoinventions Consulting Services Pty Ltd Promote Safe behaviours and lead by example on matters of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, ensuring all Legislative, Regulatory, CoP and Asutralian Standard requirements are met. Develop engineering scope of work and brainstorm with minimum one director and geotechnical engineer. Assist directors with preparing project costings for quotations to clients Maintain ongoing communications with clients and project team throughout design process Promote risk analysis on projects and conduct Safety in Design risk assessments for each project.

Delegate tasks to project team and provide coordination and mentoring during this project phase. Ensure accuracy of the design by project team prior to final review by technical director. Ensure accuracy of “For Construction" drawings before final issue to clients.

Prepare designs and costings for clients where required Manage external engineers or subcontractors where required on the project to achieve project deliverables. Produce design process documentation on time for final review by technical director Inspect construction through site visits to ensure construction is in-line with design requirements Write at least one technical paper every two years for international or local conference Submit customer satisfaction reports and report in management meeting

Task & responsibilities

- Coordinating geotechnical investigations and assessments
- Analysing data and preparing geotechnical interpretative reports
- Undertaking geotechnical design and analysis, and preparing Geotechnical Design Reports

- Adopting a leadership role on projects, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver solutions
- Accept accountability and responsibility for the project - from start to completion
- Deliver successful project outcomes measured in terms of time, cost and quality
- Prepare or review both internal and external Non-Conformance reports and report in management meetings
- Assist with project QA/QC project documentation
- Actively support and promote awareness and environmental responsibility

Qualification & experience

- Civil engineering qualification with focus on geotechnical engineering Minimum 5 years of geotechnical design and construction experience
