We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Management Accountant to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for profitability and strategy by analysing inventory costs, profit margins, and sales data to help make smart financial choices. You will also be monitoring the cost of goods sold (COGS), stock turnover, and losses from damaged or expired goods.

Key responsibilities

- Monthly management reports - explain financial trends, highlight variances, and suggest corrective actions
- Cashflow forecasting
- Budget compilation and trend analysis
- Lead annual budgeting processes
- Month-end accounting - handle reconciliations, journal entries, and contribute to accurate closes
- Mentor and support junior finance staff
- Systems and process improvement

About you

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting or financial analysis




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Solid commercial acumen
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with financial software
- Solid grounding in management accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting
