We are seeking a Printer Assistant who has a go to attitude to join our Production team in Dandenong South, VIC.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work alongside experienced printers, supporting the production of high-quality packaging and label products while gaining valuable hands‑on experience and developing a specialised skill set within the printing industry.

Night shift - Monday to Thursday (4:00pm to 2:00am)

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the printer with daily print jobs and work flexibly.
- Performs a wide range of duties including machine set‑up, make job ready, ink preparation and general housekeeping, providing support to the printer and other production areas.
- Develop skills across various production processes and equipment through ongoing training and hands‑on experience.
- Progress towards independently running the printer.
- Have an eye for detail supporting the printer.




- Support the printer and others to deliver the total requirement for daily production assigned to the machine and to interact with the planning department and factory manager to ensure timely production of the jobs.
- To report and record all wastes as per the quality procedures.
- You will contribute to all steps in our production process and practices including, Quality, Safety, Good Manufacturing practice (GMP) housekeeping and Environmental control measures.

To be successful in this role you will need

- Experience in a print, packaging, or manufacturing setting would be ideal.
- To be able to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
- To have high attention to detail and proud of your work standard – quality focus.
