About the Role

Glasshouse Christian College is seeking an experienced and highly capable Business Manager to join our senior leadership team and contribute to the continued growth, sustainability and strategic direction of the College.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an accomplished business professional who combines strong commercial and financial acumen with a genuine commitment to Christian education.

Working closely with the Principal and College leadership, the Business Manager will provide strategic oversight and leadership across the College’s business and operational functions. The role will play an important part in ensuring the College’s resources, systems and operations effectively support our educational mission, strategic priorities and long-term sustainability.

The successful applicant will bring sound judgement, strategic thinking and a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to operate effectively across both strategic and operational priorities in a complex school environment.

About You

The successful applicant will:

- Be a committed Christian who actively supports the Christian ethos, mission and values of Glasshouse Christian College.
- Be an experienced senior leader with demonstrated expertise in financial and business management.




- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to contribute strategically to the ongoing growth and sustainability of the College.
- Have well-developed financial management, budgeting, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
- Demonstrate sound governance, risk management and compliance practices.
- Be an effective and collaborative leader who can develop high-performing teams and positive workplace relationships.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, leadership, governance bodies and external stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgement, discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and lead improvement and change in a complex organisation.
- Be committed to serving the College community and supporting an environment in which students and staff can flourish.
- Be committed to ongoing training and qualified learning.
- Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) issued by the Queensland Government.
