The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing efficient and skilled customer service to customers, transport operators, and internal stakeholders within a sand plant/quarry environment. The role involves coordinating customer orders, scheduling deliveries, managing enquiries, and ensuring accurate communication between customers, the plant, weighbridge, and transport teams.

Previous experience in a sand plant, quarry, construction materials, or similar industrial environment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer enquiries by phone and email.

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Familiarity with plant operations, loading processes, weighbridge procedures, and truck movements.

Experience coordinating deliveries and working with transport operators.

Maintain accurate records and order information.

Assist with resolving customer and delivery issues.

Support the wider Customer Service and Sales team.

Follow company procedures for safety, accuracy and customer service.

Previous experience in a sand plant, quarry, or aggregates business.

Knowledge of sand/aggregate products and specifications.

Experience with weighbridge or dispatch systems.

Experience coordinating truck movements and deliveries.

Experience working with construction, civil, landscaping, or building industry customers- not essential but highly desirable.

Current driver's licence.
