About the Role

As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabrication activities associated with the manufacture and assembly of heavy transport equipment and components.

Key responsibilities include:

- Perform MIG welding and fabrication to required specifications.

- Weld and assemble steel components used in heavy transport equipment.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.

- Prepare materials and components for welding and assembly.

- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

- Use welding equipment, hand tools and workshop machinery safely.





- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and productivity.

- Follow all workplace health, safety and Company procedures.

- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet manufacturing requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Welder in a manufacturing, fabrication or similar environment.

- Demonstrated MIG welding experience.

- Experience working with steel fabrication and welded assemblies.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

- Ability to safely operate welding equipment and relevant workshop tools.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
