As our Organisational Development Advisor, you’ll help build programs and experiences about leadership, capability and culture that offer opportunities for our people to develop and deliver world class events, across both our venues.
This position is located primarily at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on the banks of the Yarra at South Wharf. You may be required to work at other locations including Geelong from time to time.
Please note this role will be required to be on site 4 days per week initially with potential for 2 days WFH after the first three months
About the role
As the Organisational Development Advisor, you'll help build programs and experiences about leadership, capability and culture that offer opportunities for people to develop and deliver world class events, across both venues.
Reporting to the Manager Organisational Development, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, culture, engagement and organisational effectiveness.
Working closely with leaders, People & Culture Business Partners and the broader OD team, you'll identify organisational needs, translate insights into practical solutions and design, deliver and evaluate initiatives that make a meaningful difference to people and the business.
From embedding the Leadership Capability Framework and developing emerging leaders to improving onboarding, strengthening employee engagement and supporting organisational change, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of OD projects from concept through to implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and deliver enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, culture, engagement and organisational effectiveness
- Identify organisational needs and translate insights into practical solutions
- Design,
deliver and evaluate initiatives that make a meaningful difference to people and the business
- Embed the Leadership Capability Framework and develop emerging leaders
- Improve onboarding processes and strengthen employee engagement
- Support organisational change initiatives
- Manage a diverse portfolio of OD projects from concept through to implementation
- Engage with stakeholders at every level to build trust and collaborative relationships
- Measure program effectiveness and use data to inform program design
About you
- Experience in organisational development, learning and development, or a related field
- Ability to move an idea from concept to implementation
- Solid critical thinking, stakeholder engagement and project management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery
- Comfortable working with data and measuring program effectiveness
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is essential
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Business Coaching would be a bonus
