We are currently seeking a passionate Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team at our TLC Hallam Medical Centre.

- Role Type: Fixed Term Contract (Until September 2027), Part Time - 43 hours per fortnight

This opportunity has arisen to provide maternity leave cover. Should the substantive employee return earlier than anticipated, the contract will conclude with four weeks' notice. There may also be the opportunity for an extension depending on the employee's return date.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with General Practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. You will support a range of clinical and preventative health services, contributing to improved patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.

General Practice experience is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a general practice setting
- Assist with clinical procedures, treatments and patient care
- Support chronic disease management, care plans and health assessments
- Deliver preventative health initiatives and patient education
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Utilise recall and reminder systems to support best practice care
- Work collaboratively with GPs and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to quality improvement and accreditation activities

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced general practice environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

You will also have:

- Diploma of Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration
- Essential: Demonstrated experience working in General Practice
- Strong knowledge of infection control,



clinical procedures and Medicare billing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectivelyA commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality care
