About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and mechanically minded individual to join our team in a hands-on support role, working alongside our experienced technicians to assist with the preventative maintenance of commercial laundry equipment. You will also play an important part in supporting our warehouse operations, including the handling, delivery and installation of equipment at customer sites.

This is more than just a support role. It is a genuine career development opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong work ethic and is keen to learn. The position is designed to provide practical, on-the-job experience and a clear pathway into a Junior Trainee Technician role, with the chance to develop the skills and knowledge required for a long-term career as a qualified laundry equipment technician.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assist technicians with preventative maintenance,



servicing and basic fault-finding of commercial laundry equipment.
- Support equipment installations and deliveries at customer sites.
- Prepare, receive and dispatch equipment through the warehouse.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring equipment is handled safely and efficiently.
- Use hand and power tools to assist with equipment preparation and installation.
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers and represent the business positively on-site.
- Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised and protected.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
- Support the wider team with general operational tasks as required.

About you:

- Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in machinery, equipment and how things work.
- Keen to build a long-term career as a technician and learn new skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting equipment.
- Holds a current driver's licence.
- Willing to obtain forklift and MR truck licences (with company support).
- Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality work.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Trade, mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
