RVORE Biomass Solutions is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Fitter to join our team.

We operate a biomass processing facility in the Goulburn Valley, working with heavy mobile plant, trucks and specialised processing equipment. We are looking for someone practical, reliable and capable of keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving and keeping machinery running. You won't be working on the same machine every day — our operation includes:

Wheel loaders

Excavators

Trucks

Trommels and screening equipment

Hydraulic systems

Bearings, rollers, shafts and drive components

General site and processing equipment

You will work closely with our workshop and operations teams to carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, breakdown repairs and fault‑finding across the site.

The role involves working across both mobile and fixed plant,



identifying issues before they become major problems, responding to breakdowns when they occur, and helping ensure our equipment remains safe, reliable and available for production.

About You

We're looking for someone who is hands‑on, safety‑minded and capable of working through problems without needing to be watched all day.

Ideally, you will have:

Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or similar

Strong mechanical fault‑finding ability

Experience with heavy plant, trucks, earthmoving, quarry, recycling, agriculture or manufacturing equipment

Good understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems

Ability to work safely and independently

Current driver's licence

Welding and fabrication experience, along with forklift, loader, EWP or other relevant tickets, would be an advantage but are not essential.
