About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Social Inclusion Advocate to champion the rights and needs of marginalized individuals from anywhere, serving the Queenstown community. In this critical remote role, you will work to remove barriers, promote equity, and ensure all members of the community have access to opportunities and support systems. You will leverage digital tools and communication strategies to connect with individuals, advocate for their needs, and facilitate access to essential services and resources. Key Responsibilities

- Advocate for the social inclusion and rights of vulnerable individuals and groups within the community.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in accessing essential services, including healthcare, education, and legal aid.
- Develop and implement strategies to address systemic barriers to inclusion and equity.
- Conduct virtual outreach and engagement activities to connect with community members and stakeholders.




- Maintain accurate and confidential case notes and advocacy records in a secure electronic system.
- Collaborate with partner organizations and government agencies to advance social inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Rights, Sociology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in advocacy, social justice work, or community development.
- Strong understanding of issues related to social inclusion, diversity, and equity.
- Excellent virtual communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with remote work technologies, including video conferencing and case management software.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage complex caseloads, and maintain ethical standards remotely.
