At Grand Saddles, the lodge is where guests return after a long lunch, a spa ritual or an afternoon in the valley, and it should feel quietly perfect every time. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you are the person who makes sure it does.

You will lead the lodge attendant team day to day, allocating work, inspecting every villa before a guest steps inside, and coaching the team to a standard that feels effortless to the guest and deliberate to us. You will know which guests are celebrating, which villas need attention, and how to keep a full house running smoothly on a changeover day. Working closely with front office and maintenance, you will make sure every villa is ready on time, every preference is honoured, and nothing slips through.

In the opening phase, you will help shape how the department works: establishing procedures, training the founding team, and setting up stock and linen systems alongside the Hotel Manager.

The position reports to the Hotel Manager and suits an experienced senior attendant ready to step up, or a supervisor seeking a more intimate and ambitious property.

About You

At least three years' housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel, lodge or resort, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory role

An exceptional eye for detail and an uncompromising approach to presentation

Confident, fair leadership,



with a coaching style that builds pride in the team

Strong organisational skills, including rostering, work allocation and time management

Experience with stock control, linen management and ordering

Sound knowledge of hygiene, chemical handling and Work Health and Safety requirements

Familiarity with a property management or housekeeping system (Opera Cloud, Mews or similar)

Pre-opening experience is advantageous, though not essential

Flexibility across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

Your own reliable transport, given the lodge's location in Mount White

What You'll Do

Lead daily briefings and allocate villa and public area assignments

Inspect every villa to the lodge's standard before guest arrival

Train, coach and support villa attendants, including induction of recent team members

Coordinate closely with front office on arrivals, departures and room status

Record and action guest preferences and special occasion requests

Report and follow up on maintenance issues promptly

Manage linen, amenities and cleaning stock, including ordering and par levels

Support rostering and help control labour and supply costs

Step in to service villas and deliver turndown when the team needs you
