About the role

This role suits someone who is as comfortable on a customer's workshop floor as in a planning meeting. You'll be the technical voice of our industrial business: helping our sales team win and keep customers, shaping our product range, and bringing new gas and packaging solutions to market. You'll join a small marketing team and work closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering and our welding businesses. Regular customer visits and some interstate travel are part of the role. You'll support customers technically, manage the product range, campaigns and market changes. Engineering degree and/or trade qualifications with hands-on experience required.

What you'll do

- Provide welding and gas application support to sales and customers, including on-site trials and troubleshooting
- Manage the industrial product range through its lifecycle, from launch to rationalisation
- Identify market opportunities and lead new product and packaging projects from business case to launch
- Develop technical content, sales tools and training for internal teams and customers
- Plan and deliver campaigns, events and trade activity that build our brand and support opportunity conversion
- Improve how we manage product and packaging data and changes across the business

What you'll bring

- An engineering degree and/or trade qualifications
- Hands-on experience in welding or industrial gas applications; exposure to cryogenics is a plus
- Experience in product management, technical marketing, application engineering or a similar role




- The ability to explain technical detail clearly to customers and non-technical colleagues
- Sound commercial judgement and the drive to turn market insight into growth
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle priorities
- A current driver's licence
