We are seeking experienced Final Trim Operators to join the team at Coastwide Civil. This is a full-time position based in Albion Park and working at sites in the Illawarra, South Coast, Sydney and Newcastle regions of NSW. As a Final Trim Operator, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of our construction projects, ensuring that surfaces are finished to the highest standards and specifications. Your work will be essential in delivering quality outcomes that meet both client expectations and regulatory requirements, making this position integral to our project success.

What you'll be doing

Operating Excavators, Dozers, graders and long Reach Excavators to achieve precise surface finishes on construction projects

Following detailed specifications and project plans to ensure accuracy and quality of work

Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery and equipment

Collaborating with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate workflow and timelines

Monitoring work progress and making adjustments to equipment settings as required

Maintaining accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered

Adhering to all health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements

Identifying potential hazards and reporting safety concerns to management

Contributing to continuous improvement in processes and operational efficiency

What we're looking for

Proven experience operating final trim machinery and equipment in construction or civil works environments

Robust understanding of construction specifications, blueprints and quality standards

Demonstrated ability to operate machinery safely and maintain equipment to high standards





Relevant certifications or licenses as required for plant and machinery operation

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes

Robust communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently whilst following site procedures and management direction

Physical fitness and ability to work on construction sites in varying weather conditions

Experience with site-specific inductions and safety protocols
