What you'll be doing
As the NICU Ward Clerk, you will provide the reliable administrative foundation that keeps the ward operating smoothly. You will use your attention to detail, communication skills and initiative to support clinical teams and maintain accurate patient and ward information. Key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate and maintain accurate patient records and essential ward documentation.
- Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support to clinical staff, patients and visitors.
- Manage competing priorities while keeping core administrative processes accurate and on track.
- Use computer systems and databases to record, retrieve and manage information efficiently.
- Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and a person-centred approach to care.
