The Role

We are looking for an experience Commis Chef to join the Idle kitchen team, on a Full-Time basis. This role will see you executing daily savory food preparation and collaborating with the senior kitchen team to deliver consistent, creative dishes and contribute to the standards and excellence that of the venue's menu.

Skills & Experience





- Previous experience within quality-driven bakeries or kitchens with a focus on savory section prep & production
- Ability to maintain consistency and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Creative outlook with an appreciation for quality and aesthetics
- Cooperative, positive demeanor with a strong ability to build rapport and work harmoniously alongside the kitchen team
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen organisational practices
- Ability to work early morning production shifts (starting as early as 2:00am and finishing by 10:00am)
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery highly regarded
