About Us

Kapiris Land Pizza is a busy and established Adelaide pizza restaurant offering dine-in, takeaway, delivery and catering services. Our Salisbury location serves an extensive menu of traditional and gourmet pizzas, pasta, mains, sides and desserts.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing, cooking and presenting pizzas, pasta dishes, mains, sauces, sides and other menu items
- Preparing pizza dough, sauces, meat, vegetables and other ingredients for daily service
- Monitoring the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished dishes
- Ensuring meals are prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
- Planning and coordinating food preparation to meet dine-in, takeaway, delivery and catering demand
- Controlling the temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Assisting with menu planning, seasonal items and improvements to existing dishes
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering, storage and rotation of ingredients
- Minimising food waste and supporting food and labour cost controls
- Coordinating with other kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Training and supporting junior kitchen employees




- Accommodating dietary requirements and customer allergy notifications
- Maintaining clean workstations, equipment and food-storage areas
- Ensuring compliance with food-safety, hygiene and work health and safety requirements

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant should have:

- A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, or an equivalent relevant qualification
- At least two years of relevant experience in a busy commercial kitchen
- Practical experience preparing pizzas, pasta, sauces and other restaurant dishes
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and stock-rotation requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistent quality
- Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
