The role

As Manager Change and Configuration Management, you'll help shape how technology change happens across a large and complex digital environment. Leading a team of specialists, you'll play a key role in reducing risk, improving service quality, and building confidence in the way we deliver and support digital services.

This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide practices, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while leading a capable and motivated team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead the team responsible for change management, service acceptance and configuration management across the Digital Information Office.

Working closely with business leaders, project teams and service providers, you’ll:

- Lead and strengthen enterprise change and configuration management practices
- Ensure technology changes are planned, assessed and implemented effectively
- Drive service acceptance activities to support successful project outcomes




- Improve the maturity, consistency and adoption of change and configuration management processes
- Monitor risk, compliance and service quality outcomes
- Build strong partnerships across the organisation and with external vendors
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
- Coach, support and develop a high-performing team

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a collaborative leader who can bring people together, simplify complexity and drive meaningful outcomes.

You’ll demonstrate:

- Proven experience leading change, service acceptance and configuration management functions in large, complex organisations
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, SIAM and service management practices
- Experience managing risk and governance within technology environments
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- The ability to translate complex technical information into practical business outcomes
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for improving services and ways of working
- Experience leading, coaching and developing teams through change

What is an essential requirement

- IT degree and/or equivalent relevant experience
- ITIL and/or SIAM certification and/or equivalent relevant experience
