PR Manager, Melbourne

The Role

Join one of Australia’s most iconic FMCG businesses as our Public Relations Manager , helping shape the stories behind some of the country’s most trusted food and beverage brands.

Working within Bega Group’s PR & Social Media team, you’ll develop and deliver earned media and reputation-building activity that strengthens our brands, protects trust and supports our commercial priorities. You’ll transform strategy into standout campaigns, uncover compelling stories and help steer conversations that matter across brands Australians have grown up with.

The role offers the opportunity to work with some of Australia’s most recognised food and beverage brands, partnering with teams across brand, marketing, and the broader business to create compelling stories and integrated campaigns.

Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver earned media and influencer campaigns that support Bega Group’s brands, reputation and commercial priorities.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of PR activity, from planning and content development through to delivery, measurement and optimisation.
- Build and manage strong relationships with journalists, influencers, agency partners and internal stakeholders.
- Provide trusted PR advice and manage media engagement, identifying opportunities while supporting issues and reputation management.
- Use insights,



measurement and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to continuously improve campaign performance and ways of working.

About you

You are an experienced PR or communications skilled who combines strong creative instincts with sound judgement and practical delivery skills. You know how to identify a strong story, navigate a fast-moving media environment and build trusted relationships across a complex organisation.

You will bring:

- Proven experience in PR or communications, ideally within FMCG, consumer brands or other fast-paced environments.
- Strong media relations, storytelling and content development skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that earn attention.
- Demonstrated success delivering earned media, influencer and integrated communications campaigns.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communications counsel skills, with sound judgement in managing reputational and sensitive issues.
- Data-driven and commercially minded, using insights, measurement and industry knowledge to improve campaign performance and business outcomes.
