About the Role:

Are you an experienced bakery leader ready to take ownership of a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Bakery Production Manager to lead our large bakery team at our busy Innaloo store.

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume bakery production facility. You will lead, support, and develop a talented team while ensuring exceptional standards across production, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, providing an excellent work-life balance while still offering the opportunity to make a significant impact within a busy bakery operation.

Bakery Production Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

As the Bakery Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of bakery production, including:

Leading and managing a large bakery production team

Coordinating daily production schedules and workflow

Ensuring products are prepared to the highest quality and consistency standards

Managing par-baked product processes and production requirements

Driving efficiency, organisation, and continuous improvement across the bakery

Training, mentoring, and supporting team members

Managing stock levels, ordering, wastage control, and production planning

Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards are maintained

Working closely with management to achieve operational and profitability goals

About You

You will be an experienced bakery professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a busy production environment. You will enjoy working with people, creating structure,



and motivating a team to achieve outstanding results.

You will bring:

Previous experience managing or supervising a bakery production team

Strong knowledge of bakery operations and production processes

Excellent organisational and communication skills

The ability to lead a large team in a quick-paced environment

A hands-on approach with a focus on quality and consistency

A commitment to food safety and operational excellence

Competitive salary package of $82,000 – $90,000 including super, depending on experience

From humble beginnings, we began our market garden in 1965 on our 5 acre property in Yangebup, growing a simple crop of beans for the local market. With dedication and hard work we have expanded our farming operations to include a range of vegetables from our market gardens in Baldivis, Myalup and Manjimup, fruit from our Orchards in Kununurra, eggs from our Poultry farm in Anketell and cattle from Manjimup and North Dandalup. We also buy from and sell for local produce growers at our Market Floor in Canning Vale.

One of the many advantages of our business, being hands on, is we are able to respond to customer needs quickly. This has seen Spudshed evolve over the years to a highly competitive independent retailer that now offers a full grocery range in addition to fresh produce, meat, fish,



bakery and dairy.

Cutting out the middle man has become a bit of an obsession! As primary producers we are at the forefront of the industry and recognise the perks as growers and more importantly for consumers to provide grower direct product at farm gate prices. We enjoy a fantastic relationship with some amazing West Australian suppliers and are a strong supporter of WA products and people. Our own people consist of over 700 everyday West Australians, who are proud to be part of our family.
