ShelfordCampus

Opening in 2027 in the heart ofCaulfield, Shelford Campus will be the newest Junior School ofCaulfield Grammar School. The campus will initially offerexceptional education for students in Prep and Years 4–6, beforeprogressively growing into a full Prep to Year 6 Junior School.This represents a once‑in‑a‑career opportunity for a founding teamto shape the culture and community from the ground up, deliveringhigh‑impact learning in purpose‑builtfacilities.

TheRole

This is an exciting opportunity tosupport student learning and contribute to the establishment of anexceptional learning environment at our new ShelfordCampus.

Reporting to the Deputy Head ofCampus, the Educational Assistants will provide effectiveday-to-day classroom support that enhances student learning andhelps deliver engaging and well-organised teaching programs.Working under the direction of classroom teachers, you will supportstudents across a variety of learning settings while contributingto a cooperative and inclusive learningenvironment.

You will work closely with teachersand year level teams to support student engagement, preparelearning materials, maintain classroom documentation, and assistwith communication initiatives. Through your proactive andprofessional approach,



you will help ensure students are supportedto achieve their best outcomes.

Multiple part-time, term-timeopportunities are available, commencing2027.

KeyResponsibilities:

- Support students in a variety oflearning environments under the guidance of classroomteachers.
- Assist year level teams as anactive and collaborative member of the learningcommunity.
- Prepare classroom materials andresources to support teaching and learningprograms.
- Maintain relevant documentationand records relating to student learning andbehaviour.
- Communicate observations ofstudent learning and progress with teachers asappropriate.
- Prepare and upload classroomcommunications.
- Work collaboratively withteachers to promote effective teaching strategies and studentengagement.
- Support individual students andsmall groups to access and participate in learningprograms.
- Assist with the delivery ofbroader curriculum experiences, including year level events,incursions and excursions.
- Attend Educational Assistantmeetings and contribute positively to teamcollaboration.
- Participate in professionallearning and development opportunities as directed by theSchool.
- Uphold the School's commitmentto Child Safety, ensuring the wellbeing, safety and dignity ofall students at all times.

Skills andQualifications:

- Employment Working with ChildrenCheck.
- Certificate III in a relatedfield.
- Previous school-based experiencein similar position will be highlyregarded.
- Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills.

- Demonstrated emotionalintelligence and ability to build positiverelationships.
