We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Sydney and partner with leaders across our agency recruitment business.

About the Role

As our Human Resources Business Partner, you will develop strong relationships with leaders and employees across the recruitment business, becoming a trusted advisor on all things people and culture.

You will combine hands-on HR support with strategic business partnering, helping leaders make effective people decisions while ensuring our HR practices support both our employees and commercial objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with senior leaders and managers to provide proactive, commercially focused HR advice.
- Coaching leaders on performance management, employee engagement, leadership and team development.
- Managing employee relations matters including performance concerns, grievances, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
- Providing advice around Australian employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
- Supporting workforce planning, talent management, succession and retention initiatives.
- Partnering with leaders through organisational change and business transformation.
- Supporting annual performance, remuneration and talent processes.
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture.




- Using people data and workforce insights to identify trends and support better decision-making.
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Supporting an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

About You

You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and operating in an environment that is commercial, people-focused and fast-moving.

You will ideally bring:

- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, People & Culture Business Partner or similar.
- Experience within agency recruitment, staffing, professional services, sales or another fast-paced commercial environment.
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
- Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise leaders when required.
- A practical and solutions-focused approach to HR.
- The ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how people initiatives contribute to business performance.
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
