We are seeking a Team Leader to lead the bookings team and coordinate travel and accommodation for residents of remote and very remote Australia to attend medical appointments.

The role
This is an newly created role at the start of something very exciting. As we grow, you will lead and support our Travel Support Service bookings team, overseeing day-to-day operations, coaching the team and ensuring a high-quality, culturally safe and responsive service. You’ll coordinate complex travel arrangements across remote Australia, work closely with participants, health services and travel suppliers, and play a key role in establishing and continuously improving our systems, processes and service as the team grows.
Key responsibilities include,
but are not limited to:
- Book domestic flights, accommodation, and other travel requirements
- Manage itinerary changes, cancellations and urgent travel requests
- Ensure travel arrangements and payments align with policy
- Monitor travel costs and identify opportunities to achieve value for money
- Maintain accurate travel records and reports
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our staff and specialists
About you
You are calm under pressure, highly organised, and have the ability to juggle multiple priorities. You will also have:
- Previous experience in travel coordination, and experience within remote Australia will be highly regarded
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Sound communication skills both verbal and written
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- A proactive, positive and team-focused attitude

You will be required to meet HOA Transport's employment criteria which may include but not be limited to a criminal history check and full medical.
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm based in Toowong, QLD.
